1. Information We Collect

We only collect what is needed to run the game and process purchases:

• •Account information: your email address and (optionally) display name. Your password is hashed by our platform provider — we never see or store it in plain text.
• •Game data: your character name, stats, level, experience, currencies (gold, gems, diamonds, dungeon points), equipped and stored weapons, consumables, active boosters, avatar (a chosen icon or an image/GIF you upload), friends list, favorites, in-game inbox notifications, login streak, and achievement counters.
• •Purchase records: when you buy something, we store the product, quantity, amount, currency, status, and the buyer email used at checkout.
• •Usage analytics: anonymous in-game events (for example, which activity you engaged and its level). These events contain no personal information.

2. Payment Information

Payments are processed by our payment provider (powered by Wix and Stripe). Your card number, CVV, and other payment-card details are entered only on the provider's secure, hosted checkout page and are never transmitted to, seen by, or stored in this app. We keep only a record that a purchase happened (product, amount, and buyer email) so we can deliver what you bought.

3. What Other Players Can See

Ascension is a multiplayer game, so some of your game profile is visible to other signed-in players:

• •Your display name, level, and avatar on the leaderboards and in player search.
• •Your combat stats, weapon tier, and achievement counts on the global and guild leaderboards.
• •Items you list on the guild marketplace, including the item, the asking price, and your display name as the seller.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: create and manage your account; save and restore your game progress; run leaderboards, the marketplace, parties, and other social features; process and fulfill purchases; send you in-game notifications; detect and prevent fraud and cheating; and fix bugs and improve the game using anonymous analytics.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that make the game work:

• •Our platform provider for hosting, authentication, and the database.
• •Our payment provider (Wix/Stripe) for processing purchases — they receive only what's needed to complete your checkout.
• •Google, when you choose to sign in with Google, for authentication only.

We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our players or the service.

6. Data Security

Your game data is isolated to your account using row-level access controls — other players cannot read or modify your character, inventory, or currencies. All backend actions that touch another player's data are gated to your own records or to verified staff. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information with industry-standard practices.

7. Data Retention and Your Right to Delete

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all of your game data (character, inventory, marketplace listings) at any time from Profile → Account → Delete Account. This action cannot be undone. Deletion removes your game data; your login account itself remains with the platform provider.

8. Children's Privacy

Ascension is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Cookies

We use only the standard session and authentication cookies needed to keep you logged in and remember your in-game progress. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the game evolves. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
